Fringe Festival Fashion Show 2008

To some, Fringe represents freedom – a freedom from the running dogs of the mainstream, thoughtlessly bending as they are bid – but freedom is a complicated affair… At Fringe this year I take a lighthearted look at freedom, by referencing that paragon of eras, the 18th Century.

Cotton polonaise with handpainted black stripes, ruched detail and PVC stays

Cotton polonaise with contrasting lining, buckled across stays with handpainted petticoat.
